Dr. Shelly Mondeik serves as the Vice President for Learning at Northcentral Technical College, providing leadership for all educational programming including curriculum and assessment. Shelly started her career at NTC in 2002 and has served in many roles, such as Full-Time Faculty, Program Director, Clinical Coordinator and Academic Dean of Public Safety prior to becoming the Vice President for Learning. Shelly has both a Master’s Degree and a Bachelor’s Degree in Career & Technical Education from UW-Stout as well as an Associate’s Degree from NTC. She recently graduated with her Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership from Edgewood College in Madison.
In addition to her executive leadership role at NTC, Shelly also serves on the Wisconsin Technical College System Instructional Service Administrators Executive Board, Wisconsin Women in Higher Education Leadership Board of Directors, Medical College of Wisconsin Advisory Board, Merrill Chamber of Commerce Executive Board and is an Executive Member of the Wisconsin Technical College System Purchasing Board.
During her 12 years at NTC, she has played an integral role in NTC’s growth by forging relationships with key stakeholders from the business and industry sector that have led to abundant collaboration and partnerships. Noted for her clear vision, team building and creative problem solving skills, Shelly’s student-centric approach and creative insights have yielded a positive impact for NTC’s students. Through innovation, collaboration and unification, Shelly has fostered success in the development and deployment of the College’s strategic initiatives.
Shelly’s accolades include the University of Wisconsin – Stout: School of Education Exemplary Service Award, Northcentral Technical College’s Distinguished Alumni Award and Northcentral Technical College’s Educational Excellence Award for Faculty.
